| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays the crowned Portuguese royal arms rendered in a simplified, stylised manner characteristic of hammered small-denomination coinage struck at the Pernambuco Mint. The escutcheon, charged with the quinas of Portugal, is flanked by decorative floral or rosette ornaments at the cardinal points, serving as space-fillers in the field.
