Obverse description Draped bust of Queen Isabel II facing right, wearing a pearl necklace and an open royal crown, her hair styled in loose waves gathered at the nape with a decorative brooch. The effigy fills the majority of the field, rendered in high relief with fine classical engraving characteristic of mid-19th-century Spanish medallic art. The engraver's signature FERNANDEZ F. appears in small lettering below the truncation. The circular legend reads ISABEL II POR LA GRACIA DE DIOS Y LA CONSTITUCION, and the incomplete date 186 is placed at the bottom of the field, reflecting the pattern's undated status.
