Obverse description Draped bust of Queen Isabella II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed in a chignon with a laurel sprig above, rendered in a neoclassical portrait style. The effigy occupies the central field with the truncation of the bust visible at the base. The peripheral legend runs along the outer border, with the date inscribed at the bottom of the field below the bust. A fine beaded border frames the entire obverse design.
