| 背面描述 | Central vignette portrays a golden lion tamarin (Leontopithecus rosalia) perched on a tree trunk, set within a lush forest habitat with a second individual visible among the foliage, rendered in warm amber and green tones over a multicolour guilloche underprint. | 备注 |
The second family of Brazilian reais was introduced progressively from 2010 onward, with each denomination updated in sequence. The 20-real note entered this series with a revised security package prompted in part by counterfeiting pressure on the first-family notes, which had circulated since 1994. The gap between the two families is relatively narrow by international standards — a reflection of how quickly forgery techniques had evolved against Brazil's original printing specifications.
Casa da Moeda do Brasil has produced all reais domestically since the currency's launch, a deliberate policy choice that distinguishes Brazil from several Latin American neighbors who outsource security printing.
