Reverse description The reverse displays a large central circular cartouche enclosing the word 'Hashimi' (هاشمي) in bold Arabic calligraphy, flanked by four smaller circular cartouches positioned at the cardinal points of the field, each containing subsidiary inscriptions. The upper portion of the field bears the legend identifying the Hashemite Arab Government in flowing Arabic script, while the lower field carries the denomination 'Twenty Qirush' and the mint formula 'Struck in the Holy City of Mecca' arranged in sweeping calligraphic bands. The design is entirely epigraphic, executed in the thuluth calligraphic style consistent with the broader Hejazi coinage series. The legend fills the field to the inner border, leaving little undecorated space.
