Obverse description Central field features the toughra of the Khalifa Abdullah ibn Muhammad rendered in flowing Arabic calligraphy, flanked by crossed spears rising from below and foliate sprays to either side. The denomination is inscribed beneath the toughra. Small floral rosette ornaments are scattered throughout the upper field, framing the design. The entire composition is enclosed within a plain inner border and a milled outer rim.

Reverse description A multi-line Arabic legend occupies the central field, reading the mint name and Hijri date, enclosed within an elaborate wreath of foliate branches tied at the base. A cluster of floral rosettes appears above the legend at the top of the wreath. Two crossed swords or spears are visible at the base of the wreath, below the date. Small star or cross ornaments accent the field within the wreath, and the whole design is surrounded by a milled border.
