| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a panoramic vignette of Guernsey landmarks and maritime scenes, with St. Sampson's Church rendered in intaglio at centre-left and Vale Castle visible in the background. A group of sailing dinghies occupies the water in the foreground, while a ferry vessel appears as a vignette to the upper right, and a large floral motif fills the lower left corner. The denomination £20 is rendered in stylised script at lower right, with the full title inscription running across the upper margin. |

| 备注 |
Issued to mark the sixtieth anniversary of Elizabeth II's accession, this note was a deliberate departure from Guernsey's regular circulation series — commemorative in intent but legal tender in practice. De La Rue, which has printed Guernsey's notes since the island's modern series began, produced this on the same substrate and security specification as the standard issue, meaning it entered general circulation alongside ordinary notes rather than being sold as a collector piece.
Guernsey's status as a Crown Dependency gives the States full authority over its own currency, independent of the Bank of England — a distinction that has made the island's commemorative issues genuinely usable, not merely decorative. The Diamond Jubilee series across the British Crown Dependencies produced several parallel issues, each authority handling design and denomination independently.
