| 正面描述 | Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in three-quarter view occupies the right portion of the note, set within an ornate guilloche border, with the denomination £20 to her right. | 备注 |
St. Helena's 1986 banknote series was the island's first fully independent issue after the territory gained its own currency distinct from the pound sterling — though the St. Helena pound has maintained parity with sterling ever since. The population at issue was under 5,500, making this one of the smallest sovereign circulation areas for a De La Rue-produced note anywhere in the world.
Low circulation volumes mean surviving examples weren't heavily worn, but the notes were printed in such modest quantities that even used examples are genuinely difficult to locate today.
