Opmerkingen

The Turner £20 is the second polymer note in the King Charles III series, carrying over the same basic design as the Elizabeth II polymer £20 introduced in 2020 — the transition simply required a new portrait and updated text, with no redesign of the Turner imagery or security architecture. De La Rue has produced Bank of England notes since the nineteenth century, making the contract essentially unbroken across the monarchy change.

Worth noting for collectors: notes dated 2023 entered circulation in early 2024, and the serial number prefix structure differs from the Elizabeth II run. The older polymer £20 remains legal tender alongside it.
