The Christie £20 was announced by the Bank of England in 2017 but never actually entered circulation — it was superseded before issue by the polymer £20 featuring J.M.W. Turner, which launched in February 2020. The paper series it was nominally part of had already been flagged for withdrawal, and the Christie design was quietly shelved. What exists are trial or promotional printings, not circulating banknotes in any standard sense.
Franck Medina is a French banknote designer whose work appears across multiple issuing authorities, though his involvement here never progressed to a released series.
