| 备注 |
The Isle of Man Government has issued its own currency since 1961, when it assumed full control over note issuance from the Martins Bank arrangements that had served the island. De La Rue has printed IoM government notes throughout that independent era, making this a long-running commercial relationship. Shimmin's signature as Chief Financial Officer rather than a bank governor reflects the island's unusual constitutional position — the IoM has no central bank, and note issuance falls under Treasury control.
P#49 is the highest-denomination note in the 2013 series, placing it in low-velocity circulation from the outset.
