Obverse description Plain paper note of primitive manufacture, hand-written and hand-stamped in Arabic script. At top centre, a rectangular cartouche with scroll-like ornamental borders carries the denomination inscription. Below, a dotted decorative band separates the cartouche from the main text block, which bears a multi-line Arabic manuscript text stating the value and redemption terms, with a red serial number hand-written above the body text. A circular blue official stamp is applied to the lower left, and a manuscript signature appears at the foot of the note.

Reverse description Plain unprinted paper reverse bearing a large oval collector's or provenance stamp in purple ink, reading partially legible text referencing an avocat (lawyer) at the Cour d'Appel in Cairo, with an illegible vignette at the base of the oval. No other design elements are present.
