| Obverse description | Salmon-pink note printed in a single colour with an elaborate guilloche oval at centre, flanked by ornate arabesque underprint patterns filling the entire field. The tuğra of Sultan Mehmed V appears at the top centre above the principal Ottoman Turkish inscription in naskh calligraphy. Denomination panels reading '20 PIASTRES' occupy all four corners — the two upper in octagonal cartouches and the two lower in rectangular frames — while the series letter 'SÉRIE L' and serial number appear in the lower central field, with a single handwritten signature below. |

Bu müddet sulhun akdinden iki sene sonra ibtidar edecektir. Muamele-i tediye alelinfirad veya işbu varaka-i nakdiyenin beş adedine mukabil bir Osmanlı altını verilmek suretiyle icra olacaktır.
