| Obverse description | Black text on purple guilloche underprint throughout. The Ottoman tughra appears at top center above the title inscription in Arabic script, with the date of law 22 Kanun-i Evvel 1331 inscribed below. Denomination cartouches in Arabic numerals occupy the upper left and upper right corners, with the left cartouche also bearing the denomination in Latin script reading '20 ASTRES'. Series letter and serial number printed in black at center left and center right respectively, with a central rosette medallion and extensive Ottoman Turkish text in Arabic script filling the lower half of the note. |
