| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a plain, flat field enclosed by an inner beaded (pearl) border running parallel to the raised outer rim. The large numeral 20, denoting the face value in Pfennig, is centrally positioned in bold raised relief, occupying the majority of the field. The design is deliberately simple and functional, characteristic of wartime notgeld emergency coinage. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Kollmar & Jourdan was one of Pforzheim's major jewelry and metalware manufacturers — the city supplied the bulk of Germany's costume jewelry output — and like dozens of industrial firms in 1916, it was authorized to issue notgeld as the Imperial government's wartime metal requisitions drained copper and nickel from circulation entirely. Zinc was the material of last resort, cheap and plentiful from smelter byproduct, but it corrodes aggressively in humid conditions, which explains the relative difficulty in finding undamaged survivors from this specific issue.
