A central circular vignette, framed by a beaded ring and geometric underprint, displays the coat of arms of Ilmenau — a heraldic composition showing a fortified gateway flanked by towers above a divided shield bearing an eagle and a further armorial device, surmounted by a foliate crown. Ornamental scroll and wave motifs fill the lateral borders, with the date, validity notice, and manuscript signature of the Stadtgemeindevorstand arranged vertically to the right of the vignette. |
