| Obverse description | The obverse features an outer pearl border encircling the rim, with the circular legend COLLET & ENGELHARD A.-G. reading along the upper arc and OFFENBACH along the lower arc, each separated by star-shaped stops. An inner pearl circle frames the central field, within which the large numeral 20 is prominently displayed in raised relief. The overall design is utilitarian in style, characteristic of German Notgeld emergency coinage of the World War I era. |
