| Reverse description | The reverse of this octagonal Notgeld token displays an outer pearl border encircling the entire coin, within which the circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE is inscribed in raised Latin letters. An inner rope or twisted-cord circle frames the central field, which bears the large numeral 20 indicating the denomination. Three five-pointed stars are evenly spaced in the lower field between the rope border and the outer pearl border, serving as decorative punctuation. The design is characteristically austere, reflecting the emergency small-change token issues of the German inflation period. |
