| Obverse description | The face is dominated by a horizontal eye-shaped cartouche formed by two curved blue bands, enclosing a central vignette of three stylised birds perched on flowering branches with green foliage against a yellow ground, rendered in yellow and red. Denomination numerals '20' in red letterpress appear at the left and right margins, each paired with 'PFG', while a Low German folk verse in red curves along the interior of the cartouche. The issuer's name 'NOTGELD DER GEMEINDE BOKEL' runs in large blue capitals across the top of the note, with 'AMTSBEZIRK HÖRNERKIRCHEN' along the lower margin. |
