| 背面描述 | Printed in brown on a pale ground with a dense geometric guilloche background, the reverse centres on a cartouche-framed landscape vignette rendered in fine letterpress engraving, showing a large estate building with vineyards and agricultural workers in the foreground, likely representing a Rheingau wine estate. The numerals '20' appear in each corner in the same bold blackletter style as the obverse, and the printer's imprint 'C. Naumann's Druckerei Frankfurt a/M' is set in small roman type along the lower margin. |

| 备注 |
The Rheingaukreis — a rural administrative district hugging the Rhine's north bank west of Wiesbaden — was exactly the sort of issuer that flooded Germany with small-denomination emergency money after 1918. Central government coinage had essentially vanished from everyday commerce, hoarded or melted, and district committees (Kreisausschüsse) were legally permitted to fill the gap with Notgeld of their own authorization. This note is one of those stop-gap instruments.
Carl Naumann's Druckerei in Frankfurt had been operating since 1821 and handled a substantial volume of regional Notgeld commissions during this period — a competent commercial printer, not a specialist security house.
