The legend PATRIA Y LIBERTAD arcs across the upper field. Flanking the lower portion of the portrait, the weight specification 33.436 G. appears to the left and the fineness mark 900 M to the right, each preceded by a raised dot. The date 1916 is prominently inscribed at the bottom of the field between two dots, and the entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
