| Obverse description | Black intaglio note with a central vignette of three figures in traditional gaucho dress, flanked by two portrait vignettes: a uniformed military officer at left and another at right, both in formal regalia. The bank title 'PROVINCIA DE BUENOS AIRES' arches across the upper portion, with the denomination 'VEINTE PESOS' in bold letterpress at right and repeated numerals '20' in each corner. A circular handstamp of the Moneda Nacional office appears over the central vignette, and two manuscript signatures appear along the lower portion above the serial number. |
