| Obverse description | Brown on light underprint, with the denomination numeral 20 repeated in each corner. The royal crowned coat of arms of Montenegro occupies the central vignette, with the Cyrillic value inscription ДВАДЕСЕТ ПЕРПЕРА running horizontally across the centre. The upper portion carries the Main State Treasury promise-to-pay clause in Cyrillic, while the date Цетиње, 23. јула 1914 is placed at the lower centre above two manuscript signature lines for the President of the Main State Control and the Minister of Finance. |
