| Obverse description | The central vignette presents the royal coat of arms of Montenegro — a double-headed eagle surmounted by a crown — set against a fine guilloche underprint covering the entire field in pale rose-brown. The denomination «ДВАДЕСЕТ ПЕРПЕРА» appears in bold Cyrillic letterpress both above and across the centre of the arms, with the numeral 20 repeated in each corner. The date «Цетиње, 25. јула 1914.» is printed below the arms alongside the series and serial number designations, with two manuscript signatures at the foot under the titles of the President of the Main State Control and the Minister of Finance. |
