| Obverse description | Brown and cream note with an ornate guilloche border framing the entire face. A royal coat of arms vignette occupies the upper left octagonal panel, with the denomination numeral '20' in a matching panel at upper right. The central text block carries the issuing authority and the obligation clause in Cyrillic script, with the large legend ДВАДЕСЕТ ПЕРПЕРА in bold letterpress across the centre. Date and place of issue (Цетиње, 25. јула 1914.) appear below, flanked by two manuscript signatures over their respective printed titles; serial number and series prefix are printed at lower left and lower right. |

| Reverse description | Printed in brown on a light cream ground, the reverse is dominated by a large central guilloche underprint with a paired-eagle or decorative vignette at centre. The denomination numeral '20' appears in each of the four corners within lightly ornamented frames, and an elaborate foliate border runs the full perimeter. The issuer name КРАЉЕВИНА ЦРНАГОРА and the denomination ДВАДЕСЕТ ПЕРПЕРА are set in bold Cyrillic letterpress, followed by the authorising legal clause and a warning against counterfeiting. |
