| Reverse description | The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in Ottoman script centered within the field, reading the mint and regnal year formula. Below the main inscription, the Hijri date 1171 appears in large Arabic numerals at the base of the design. The entire legend is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the obverse, giving the coin a uniform decorative frame. The script is boldly engraved in a functional Ottoman chancery style typical of mid-18th century Istanbul mint issues. |
