Printed in brown on cream paper, the obverse is framed within a decorative border of folk-style geometric and cross motifs, with the heading БЕОГРАДСКА ОПШТИНА in bold Cyrillic capitals across the top. The central text panel carries the redemption notice of the Belgrade Municipal Treasury for 20 Para in state currency, dated Belgrade, June 1920, with two manuscript signatures below the titles БЛАГАЈНИК and ПРЕДСЕДНИК. The denomination 20 ПАРА / PARA is contained within circular cartouches at left and right, and a double-headed eagle coat of arms is centred at the foot of the panel. |

The reverse, also in brown on cream paper, centres a panoramic vignette of the Belgrade riverfront skyline with a bird in flight above and the date 1920 inscribed overhead. The denomination 20 appears in large bold numerals flanking the central vignette, with ПАРА and PARA lettered above each respective figure, the whole encircled by the inscription БЕОГРАДСКА ОПШТИНА. Elaborate folk-art geometric ornaments fill the corner and side borders, with two heraldic shield devices in the lower left and right corners and a third shield centred at the foot. |
