| Obverse description | A double-headed heraldic eagle displayed in high relief occupies the central field, its wings spread and talons extended. Between the two heads rises a royal crown surmounted by a cross, symbolizing Serbian sovereignty. On the eagle's breast is superimposed a quartered shield bearing the Cross of Serbia with four firesteels (Cyrillic 'C') in each quadrant. The entire design is set within a beaded border, with no legend on this face. |
