Reverse description The reverse depicts a full-figure effigy of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother seated in a ceremonial throne, robed in coronation regalia and wearing the Imperial State Crown. She holds a sceptre in her right hand and an orb rests at her left side, evoking the solemnity of the 1953 coronation ceremony. The figure is rendered in high relief against a plain field, enclosed within a dotted inner border. The curved legend QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER arcs along the upper periphery, with the secondary inscription THE CORONATION OF ELIZABETH II positioned below it in a smaller arc. The date 1953 and the denomination TWENTY PAʻANGA appear in two lines along the lower field, flanked by small decorative devices.
