| Beschrijving keerzijde | Large Greek letter K (the denomination mark for 20 Nummi) occupies the centre of the field, with a cross potent above surmounting the upright stroke. To the left of the K the Latin word ANNO is inscribed in three lines, indicating the regnal year system introduced by Justin II. To the right appears the regnal year numeral, and below is the officina letter identifying the workshop of issue. The reverse follows the standard Byzantine half-follis format established under Anastasius I and continued through the Justinianic reform coinage. |
