Obverse description	Intaglio portrait of King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck set within a circular vignette at right, rendered in dark olive-green tones. To the left, a large circular medallion bears the Bhutanese royal emblem of two intertwined dragons surrounding a crossed-vajra motif, with a central Dharma wheel medallion rendered in red and gold on a guilloche underprint of cloud scrollwork. Dzongkha inscriptions appear at top centre and along the lower margin, with alphanumeric serial numbers at lower left and upper right, and the signature of the Chairman below centre.

Reverse description	Central vignette of Punakha Dzong, the historic fortress-monastery at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, rendered in detailed intaglio in warm brown and ochre tones against a light green tree-covered hillside background. The denomination numeral 20 appears in each corner within ornate scrollwork cartouches. The issuer name in English appears at top centre and the denomination in both English and Dzongkha script runs along the lower margin, with the caption PUNAKHA DZONG at lower left.
