Hasbro's Crooked Cash Edition introduced a built-in counterfeit detection mechanic to Monopoly for the first time — players use a special scanner token to expose fake bills secretly shuffled into the bank by opponents. The "crooked" notes are deliberately printed with subtle visual discrepancies intended to be caught only by the prop scanner, not by the naked eye.

Not a collectible banknote by any meaningful numismatic standard, but an interesting artifact of game design.
