Descrizione del dritto	The Soyombo national emblem is rendered at centre, flanked by Buddhist eternal knot motifs serving as decorative underprint elements. A vignette of two wrestlers engaged in traditional Mongolian bökhiin barildaan — one of the three Manly Sports — occupies the lower central field within a circular frame. Denomination numerals and issuer inscriptions appear in the traditional Mongolian vertical script.

Descrizione del rovescio	Printed in shades of orange and deep red on a fine guilloche underprint with a diagonal lattice background, the reverse carries the large denomination numeral '20' and the inscription 'МӨНГӨ' at centre within a decorative rectangular frame surmounted by a guilloche band bearing the numeral '20' at upper right. A circular vignette at lower centre presents two Mongolian wrestlers in traditional costume engaged in bökhiin barildaan. The issuing authority 'МОНГОЛБАНК' is lettered along the lower margin, with 'МОНГОЛ УЛС' across the upper field.

Commenti	Mongolia's 1993 series was the first issued under Mongolbank following the dissolution of the Soviet-aligned Mongol Ardyn Bank structure and the country's formal transition to a market economy. Thomas De La Rue handled the full series, a practical choice given the absence of domestic printing infrastructure capable of producing secure currency at the time. The 20 möngö is the smallest subunit denomination in the set. With rapid inflation through the mid-1990s eroding purchasing power, these low-value notes became effectively worthless within a few years of issue and saw little sustained circulation.
