| Obverse description | The central field bears the name of the issuing authority in ornate Arabic calligraphy arranged in two lines, reading 'البنك المركزي التونسي' (Central Bank of Tunisia), flanked on either side by the dual dates in both Hijri and Gregorian numerals. The entire central inscription is framed by an elaborate arabesque border of interlaced foliate scrollwork that fills the outer annulus, executed in a traditional Islamic decorative style. A fine denticled rim encircles the design. |
