| 备注 |
Brazil's Thesouro Nacional relied heavily on the American Bank Note Company throughout the early twentieth century, and this series reflects a printing relationship that stretched across two decades of considerable political turbulence — from the Old Republic through the Vargas revolution of 1930 and into the Estado Novo. The note remained in issue across all of it, which is unusual longevity for a denomination that was not the highest in circulation.
The "16th. Print" designation in the Brazilian federal series refers to a sequential plate edition, not a separate issue authorization — a cataloguing convention that catches out collectors unfamiliar with how the Thesouro Nacional managed its ABNC contracts.
