The denomination in words appears at lower left in Finnish and Swedish, with the issuer names in both languages flanking the central vignette. Finland's post-independence banking infrastructure was still finding its footing when this series was issued. The 1922 notes were produced domestically — a deliberate choice by Suomen Pankki to reduce reliance on foreign printers following independence in 1917 and the brutal civil war that followed in 1918.
Pick 63 is not a scarce type in absolute terms, but genuine circulated examples show characteristic wear along the horizontal fold lines, a known weakness of this paper stock.
