Obverse description Right-facing uncrowned effigy of Kaiser Wilhelm II with a prominent moustache, attired in military uniform with epaulettes visible at the truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and facial features. The circumferential legend reads WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSSEN, with the Berlin mint mark A positioned at the lower rim below the bust truncation.

Reverse description Central device featuring the Imperial German eagle displayed, with spread wings, a crowned shield on its breast bearing the Hohenzollern quartered arms, and the orb and sceptre in its talons. The eagle is surrounded by elaborate decorative mantling and chain work. The upper legend reads DEUTSCHES REICH with the date 1911 at the right, while the denomination 20 MARK is inscribed in the lower field, flanked by five-pointed stars.
