Reverse description	Printed in green and brown on cream paper, the reverse carries a green guilloche underprint across the entire field. At centre, a framed vignette presents the rampant Brunswick lion in dark intaglio-style engraving. Flanking the central vignette in large Gothic letterpress are the inscriptions 'Not wird vergehen' to the left and 'Schande bleibt bestehen' to the right. The top panel reads 'Staatskassenschein über 20 Mark' and the bottom panel carries 'Herzogtum Braunschweig', with a small anti-counterfeiting legal warning in roman type at the lower centre.
