| Obverse description | Right-facing bare bust of Heinrich XXII, Prince of Reuss-Greiz, rendered in fine sculptural relief with short hair and a full beard, consistent with the naturalistic portrait tradition of the German Imperial coinage series. The effigy is centrally positioned within the field, with the mint mark B appearing below the bust truncation. The circular legend HEINRICH XXII V.G.G.ÄLT.L.SOUV.FÜRST REUSS is distributed around the periphery in Latin lettering, enclosed within a beaded border. |
