Obverse description Full-length effigy of King Gustav II Adolf standing facing, holding an orb and scepter, wearing crown and royal robes. The Hebrew Tetragrammaton (Jehovah) appears in radiant glory above the king's figure. No date appears in the left field. The portrait is rendered in a bold, late Renaissance style typical of early seventeenth-century Swedish coinage.
