| Reverse description | A finely modelled draped bust of Clara Zetkin, the German socialist politician and women's rights activist, faces slightly left in three-quarter view, her hair swept up beneath a head covering and a fur-trimmed collar at her shoulders. The birth and death years '1857' and '1933' appear in two lines to the left of the portrait in the field. The legend 'CLARA ZETKIN' is inscribed in two lines across the lower field beneath the bust, rendered in a clean sans-serif typeface consistent with GDR commemorative coinage of the period. |
