| Obverse description | Brown and black letterpress Notgeld note with an ornate dark border of scrollwork and stylized foliage at the corners. The denomination 'Zwanzig Mark' is set in large Gothic (Fraktur) blackletter script at the centre, surmounted by the heading 'Gutschein über'; a fine guilloche underprint surrounds the serial number in the middle field. The lower half carries a redemption text in Fraktur type, the date 'Cochem, den 19. November 1918.', the issuing authority legend, and a manuscript signature of the presiding official, with the district arms vignette at lower right. |
