To the upper left stands the Bavarian lion coat of arms, while to the upper right appears a vignette of an armoured knight holding a sword, flanked by a heraldic eagle shield. The denomination "Zwanzig Mark" is rendered in large display blackletter type at centre, below the voucher number line "Gutschein No. [number] über", with three manuscript facsimile signatures of the Oberbürgermeister, Stadtmagistrat, and Kollektiv der Stadtgemeinde-Bevollmächtigten; the redemption clause appears along the lower margin. |
