The lower portion contains the redemption conditions in Fraktur text, dated 'Aachen, den 31. Oktober 1918', with two official circular seals at lower left and right and two manuscript signatures below the printed titles of the Oberbürgermeister and the Vorsitzende des Kreisausschusses. The outer border consists of a repeating cartouche frame inscribed with '20 Mark' on all sides. |

The same repeating '20 Mark' cartouche border frames all four edges, and the printer's imprint appears in small text at the bottom margin. |
