Obverse description Frontal bust of Saint Marinus, bearded and robed, occupying the central field; his right hand is raised in a gesture of benediction while his left hand supports a model of Monte Titano bearing the three distinctive towers of San Marino. The date 1931 appears in the lower exergue flanked by decorative rosette stops. The circular Latin legend SALVAM FAC REMPVBLICAM TVAM runs along the periphery within a beaded border.
