| Reverse description | Three ostrich feathers — the traditional emblem of the Republic of San Marino — rise from a crenellated battlement rendered in the lower central field, beneath a mural crown at the top of the inner circle. Below the battlements, the engraver's signatures E. SAROLDI and A.M. INC. appear flanking the design, with the word PROVA inscribed to the right of the feathers. The denomination L. 20 is displayed in a rectangular cartouche at the bottom of the field, and the Rome mint mark R appears beneath it. The circular legend REPVBBLICA DI S. MARINO runs along the periphery within a beaded border. |
