The obverse displays the arms of San Marino: three stylized ostrich plumes rising from a crenellated parapet, symbolizing the three towers of Mount Titano, surmounted by a royal crown at the top of the field. The denomination L.20 appears within a rectangular cartouche at the bottom of the field, flanked by decorative scroll elements. The engraver's signatures E. SAROLDI and A.M. INC. are inscribed on either side of the parapet. The circular legend REPVBBLICA DI S. MARINO runs along the upper periphery, while the mint mark R and a fasces device appear at the base below the cartouche. The coin is bordered by a beaded inner circle. |

The reverse features a three-quarter length figure of Saint Marinus, the patron and founder of the republic, depicted bearded and robed, his gaze raised heavenward in a devotional attitude. In his right hand he raises two fingers in a gesture of blessing, while his left hand cradles a detailed representation of the fortified rock of Mount Titano with its three medieval towers. The circular Latin legend SALVAM · FAC · REMPVBLICAM · TVAM (Save Thy Republic) surrounds the scene along the periphery. The date 1932 appears in the lower exergue, flanked by two small floral ornaments. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
