| Description de l’avers | The Royal Arms of the Kingdom of Italy appear at upper centre, flanked by two allegorical children — the figure at right holding a fishing hook (Commerce) and that at left holding a gear (Industry) — all set within an elaborate light-blue guilloche border interwoven with branches of olive, vine, and oak. A central underprint in ocher carries the repeated denomination '20 LIRE' in transparency behind the principal black letterpress text block, which is enclosed within a decorative square frame. Series numbers appear at upper left and lower right, serial numbers at upper right and lower left, with a left-border matrix panel bearing the inscription 'REGNO D'ITALIA' in black. |
