| 正面描述 | Central field features the official emblem of the 11th European Youth Olympic Festival, depicting a stylized flame or teardrop form surmounted by the Turkish crescent and star, set above a globular latticed element encircled by a flowing ribbon, evoking both athletic spirit and Turkish identity. Below the emblem, the legend TRABZON 2011 and 11th EUROPEAN YOUTH OLYMPIC FESTIVAL appear in two lines, with AVRUPA GENÇLİK OLİMPİK OYUNLARI inscribed beneath in smaller lettering. The circular legend TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ curves along the upper rim, while the denomination 20 TL and the date 2011 are positioned along the lower arc, flanked by a small decorative star and crescent motif. The entire design is executed in an antique bronze finish with contrasting recessed fields. |

Turkey hosted the first-ever Winter Youth Olympic Games in Erzurum in February 2011 — the inaugural edition of an IOC event created specifically for athletes aged 14 to 18. This bronze commemorative was issued in direct connection with that hosting role, making it one of the few Turkish coins tied to a genuinely first-instance international sporting event rather than a recurring one.
