At the centre, a three-line legend commemorates the centenary of friendship between Türkiye and the Netherlands, with the founding date '16 AĞUSTOS 1924' below. The circular legend reads 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' on the left and 'REPUBLIC OF TÜRKİYE' on the right, with the Turkish crescent-and-star emblem at the top. The denomination '20 Türk Lirası' and the date '2024' appear in the lower exergual area. The overall design draws on Ottoman decorative arts traditions. |
